10 years after the global debut, the 2019 edition of Portuguese Shoes’ campaign will celebrate art and movement, having as key players CNB (National Ballet of Portugal) dancers.
To mark a decade of internationalization, APICCAPS surprised once again and chose dance as a metaphor for elegance and strength, which can also be associated to the national footwear’s journey around the world. According to APICCAPS’ President, Luís Onofre, “the recent evolution of our industry allows to raise the Portuguese footwear to a status of art object. This is a substantially different campaign from all the others so far but not less bold, nonetheless: we renovated the ambition of making the Portuguese footwear a great international reference for its design, innovation and excellent taste”.
A set of pictures full of almost impossible beauty of bodies moving and the scenic tightness of dancing turns each shoe in the art that surrounds it, naturally merging itself into that unique and unrepeatable moment. The campaign was photographed by Frederico Martins, inside Camões Theater, the house of the ballet group that is the main reference of classical dancing in Portugal, since 1997.
